  • There are many parent coaching options available. As occupational therapists, we are licensed, board-regulated healthcare professionals whose work is evidence-based and guided by strict professional standards that protect your privacy and well-being. All services are HIPAA compliant.

    Our training focuses on how daily routines, environments, and real-life demands affect functioning and development. This allows us to take a holistic approach and tailor strategies to each family’s unique situation. No two treatment plans are the same because no two families are the same.

    We encourage families to seek professionals who are regulated, credentialed, and committed to high standards of care based backed by evidence.

  • We know how hard it is to watch someone you love struggle, especially when you’re unsure or there is disagreement about what to do next. You are not alone in this. We will walk alongside you every step of the way.

    We teach evidence-based strategies that help you make meaningful changes, even when the situation feels stuck. Many of these strategies focus on what you, as the parent or support partner, can do, no matter how your loved one responds. This means progress is still possible, and you are not stuck waiting for others to change. Together, we will create clear, manageable plans and support you as you put them into practice. 

    Our goal is to help you feel supported and steady as you care for your family. We will be there with you as you move forward.

  • Yes. The number one recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for children under 12 is parent behavior training. It is also an important recommendation for children over age  12. The style of parent coaching at Center Ring Therapy complies with the recommendations of the AAP.

  • Center Ring Therapy is an out-of-network provider, we can provide a superbill upon request. Speak with your insurance provider to learn about out-of-network benefits.

  • Initial Intake: $190 for a one hour session

    Follow-up Sessions: $165 for 55m session

    Sessions are typically once a week, via a HIPPA compliant virtual platform.

    Group rates are displayed when a group opens. We offer a reduced rate if you and a group of at least 4 friends would like to form your own group and schedule privately.

  • We are pleased to offer virtual services in Illinois and California.

  • At this time we offer virtual (telehealth) sessions on a HIPAA compliant platform.

  • After you e-mail us, we will contact you to schedule within 48 business hours.

  • Our work is designed to complement and enhance services you may already received from a therapist, neuropsychologist or other related provider.

    We specifically work on bridging the gap between what you are learning and what you are doing in the day-to-day. Whether you’ve learned skills and strategies before or not, we collaborate with you to design changes that work and respond to the unpredictability of life.
